So many of my fellow deviants are changing the names of their accounts. Had I known that I could do that, maybe I wouldn't have started this completely new account. Then again, starting fresh did give the chance the organize my deviations and favorites as well as connect with new artists, so I guess I can't complain.

true, but changing your name only works with premium membership. this is actually why I decided to give Premium a try. (3na5n1 doesn't look pretty representative) The point of premium is that people are being directed from your old account name to your new as well. This is why you can only change it once a year, even with premium, because frequent changing would grant you more subdomains, linking to the same page. (this also has an impact on your google ranking by the way).
